Cord Chair by Jacques Guillon re-issued

The Cord Chair was originally designed by Canadian designer Jacques Guillon in 1953 and has been out of production for 40 years. Now Avenue Road, a Toronto based manufacturer, has announced that in August, they will be re-issuing the chair.

The chair is composed of a solid maple wood frame and finished (either walnut wood veneer or black lacquer). The seat and back are fully strung in either white or black 8-strand braided cord.

Available at Avenue Road.

vuitton bags line-up for fall 2010 is very glamorous. Taking inspiration from the iconic Speedy, vuitton handbag are flattened and stretched, given a new flap and top handle and reincarnated as a doctor's bag and clutch. Also, the vuitton handbags materials are very luxurious… the Monogram canvas has been flocked and sequined, woven with metallic threads, guipure lace over duchess satin, Damier fox, soft and supple calfskin and exotic skins like Ostrich, Crocodile and Alligator.
